Ángel Ferrer was born and raised in Apaxco, Estado de Mexico. He studied photography in Oaxaca and in Centro de la Imagen in Mexico City. He was selected as a finalist in the first Contemporary Photography Contest organized by Fahrenheit magazine in collaboration with the French Embassy. He also has contributed to publications in Mexico and abroad, and his photographs have been exhibited in Argentina, Wales and Mexico.
