Bio

Ángel Ferrer was born and raised in Apaxco, Estado de Mexico. At 19, he began studying journalism in Mexico City but soon shifted his focus to photography, pursuing an artistic path that led him to Oaxaca, where he studied with photographers and visual artists. Afterward, he later returned to Mexico City to continue his studies in the Seminario de Fotografía Contemporánea, organized by Centro de la Imagen. In 2006, he was selected as a finalist in the first Contemporary Photography Contest organized by Fahrenheit magazine in collaboration with the French Embassy in Mexico. He has contributed to a variety of publications in Mexico and abroad, and his photographs have been exhibited in Argentina, Wales, Mexico City, and his hometown in Estado de Mexico. He is currently traveling, taking new photographs, and working on his first photography book.
